Walt and Lillian are married, July 13, 1925

Lillian and Walt Disney - July 13, 1925 - WaltsApartment.comOn July 13, 1925, Walter Elias Disney and Lillian Marie Bounds were married in Lewiston, ID by Reverend D.J.W. Somerville with Lillian’s family, Hazel and Sydney in attendance.

Lillian was born in Spalding, Idaho on February 15, 1899 and grew up Lapwai, Idaho.

Walt was born on December 5, 1901 in Hermosa, Illinois, moved to Marceline, Missouri where he lived for four years before moving to Kansas City, Missouri.

In the photo to the right, Lillian and Walt celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary at the still un-opened Disneyland. They used Slue-Foot Sue’s Golden Horseshoe saloon and the Mark Twain Riverboat to host their family and friends for the gala party.
